Loan Interest Rates, 17 Oct 2008
The MoneyWise Board have agreed to changes to the loan policy regarding interest rate charges. With effect from 1st November 08 loan rates for new borrowing will be charged at: up to £300 - 2% per month (APR 26.8%), £301 - £1000- 1.5% per month (APR 19.56%), £1001 - £3000 - 1% per month (APR 12.68%), £3000 - £6000 - 0.8% per month (APR 10.3%). Rates provided are still among the cheapest rates for unsecured lending in the area compared with high street lenders. For an example of the cost of credit have a look at our loan calculator
